MARK HIMES, D.O.

Dr. Mark Himes joined Farmington Family practice in July of 2016. He is board-certified in family medicine and specializes in sports medicine. Dr. Himes received his medical degree in Osteopathy at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado in 2012. A doctor of Osteopathy emphasizes a whole-person approach to treatment and care. DOs receive special training in the musculoskeletal system, your body’s interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones. After completing his medical degree he completed his residency at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2015. He went on to complete a fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Tx in sport medicine in 2016. He and his wife Jill both grew up in Bloomfield and are excited to be back in the area with their four children. Dr. Himes enjoys volunteering and has utilized his sports medicine expertise when volunteering for a variety of organizations. He is excited to serve the community he grew up in.
