Charlene “Michelle” Hagen, C-FNP
Charlene “Michelle” Hagen joined Farmington Family Practice in November 2010. Michelle is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her MSN from the UNM College of Nursing with a concentration in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Her background includes working as a RN in the Emergency and Trauma Department at SJRMC for 11 years. She also worked on the Medical Unit at SJRMC for one year. She holds a current certification in TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS. She is thoroughly enjoying her advanced practice role as a NP in the primary care realm. Her ER experience has provided her a good foundation for her new role in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illness and disease. As a nurse practitioner, Michelle has full scope of practice in diagnosing, treating, evaluating, and managing acute and chronic illness and disease. She has full prescribing authority. She provides primary care services including health-maintenance care for adults and children, including annual physicals, sport physicals, and well-women exams. Michelle has been married to her husband for 31 years. They have raised two sons, both Eagle Scouts. Michelle and her husband live in Farmington and are both active members of their church. They enjoy traveling and many outdoor activities together
